Chris Kemoeatu, a former professional football player for the Pittsburgh Steelers, had his career cut short after he was told he needed a kidney transplant. Luckily, his brother that played professional football for the Baltimore Ravens, Ma'ake Kemoeatu, was able to provide him with a new kidney. Now the conversation was brought competitiveness into there lives even after there playing years. But in the end, it's all about brotherly love.

I believe that this decision by Ma'ake to end his career for his brother was a good thing.. After drinking for a while and then becoming adolescent, it can cause damaging to the kidney which will result in kidney failure. The kidney helps the body filter and remove toxic waste. If you have kidney failure, then your body can not dispose the waste which could lead to diseases and infections in the body. If Chris had not gotten the kidney transplant, he would be at high risk of death which most likely lead to his retirement.
The reason my there were jokes being told about Chris have a Baltimore Raven kidney is because of the history of the Ravens and Steelers. Since the Baltimore Ravens have entered the National Football League, they have been big rivals with the Steelers. So when you hear jokes about Chris and Ma'ake supposing to be rivals because of there respective teams, it is because of the long witted rivalry of the two teams.
I have to agree with you, i don't think Ma'ake Kemoeatu cared any less about what people think about giving a rival a kidney. All he cared about was his brother getting healthy again because he loves him for who he is-his brother. In my opinion i would have done the same thing to my brother. Even if these teams are competitive and rivals he was still willing to offer his brother his kidney and continue playing the sport he loves.
